Jim brings more than three decades of leadership in healthcare technology and operations. Throughout his career, he has led major clinical systems initiatives for nationally recognized healthcare organizations, including UChicago Medicine, Northwestern Medicine, and Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. His passion for improving post-discharge care became personal after helping a family member navigate a successful recovery following spinal fusion surgery. That experience inspired the vision for KindCare and continues to guide the company's mission of making recovery at home simpler, more coordinated, and centered around the patient.

Michael Fitch, MD, MSc
Medical Advisor

Michael is a resident physician who earned his Doctor of Medicine from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and a Master of Science from Johns Hopkins University, where he completed original thesis research focused on environmental health and human pathophysiology. His combination of clinical training, scientific research, and firsthand patient care provides valuable insight into the challenges patients face after leaving the hospital. As a Medical Advisor, Michael provides clinical perspective to help ensure KindCare’s recovery solutions are thoughtful, evidence-based, and centered around patients and their families.

Ryan Fitch
Technology Advisor

Ryan brings experience leading technology, data, and artificial intelligence initiatives across healthcare and logistics organizations. He currently serves as Director of Technology at AnswerMyQ and previously served as Head of Data & Analytics at Better Trucks after beginning his career as an engineer at Babylon Health. As a Technology Advisor, Ryan brings both technology and logistics experience to KindCare, providing guidance on technology strategy and scalable delivery operations. His focus is on providing guidance around secure, efficient solutions that simplify post-discharge coordination, support healthcare providers, and improve the patient recovery experience.
